There are 22 double rooms available at The Cricketers, all offering a cosy place to rest your head, so you are ready to explore the beautiful countryside in and around Saffron Walden.

‘The Pavilion’, ‘The Courtyard’, and ‘The Willows rooms’ are all unique in style and with 14 ‘Standard’ rooms and 8 ‘Best’ rooms available there are a choice of room types for our guests.
All rooms are en suite, individually decorated and furnished to a high standard, in a cottage or contemporary style.
This year our accommodation was awarded 4 stars and a Silver Award by English Tourist Board 'Visit Britain' plus we picked up a breakfast award too!

THE PAVILION ROOMS
Based on two floors, The Pavilion is traditional in style, with antique furniture and all the finishing touches you would expect from a boutique country inn. Two of our pavilion rooms even have four poster beds, so you can sleep like a King or Queen!
A few of our bedrooms can be available as a twin or a double and additional beds can be added to our larger rooms where required.

THE COURTYARD ROOMS
A little more modern in style, the Courtyard is popular with couples and business people.
With 6 en suite rooms all on ground level there is easy access to our restaurant, so you can enjoy our award winning breakfast, or tuck in to one of our delicious evening meals.

THE WILLOW
ROOMS
These are our ‘best rooms’, all with individual touches in a boutique style, a large double bed and parking just outside.
Each room has a table and chairs outside, allowing you to sit, relax and admire the beautiful views of the farmland at the rear.
One of our Willow rooms has been designed to accommodate visitors who are less mobile and has a large modern wet room and parking close by.
